How long have you waited for this day to come? To plan your own wedding? Many years more than most couples, yes? It seems some civil rights have been slow to catch on. But thankfully, they are spreading and same sex weddings are being celebrated in more and more states. Faster now, as more judges rule on what is constitutional. It’s exciting
to see state laws being changed to embrace marriage equality and Same Sex weddings can finally proceed.
This will be one of the best days of your life. To stand across from the love of your life, holding her hands as words catch in your throat and you slide rings onto each other’s fingers. Surrounded by your friends and family who love you most. Who are absolutely ecstatic to celebrate this day with you both.
There may be extra clapping and cheering for you two, as you kiss for the first time as a married couple. And it may continue, even louder, as you walk back down the aisle. I’ve seen it happen. It’s a pretty amazing moment.
For years to come, you will have photographs to cherish of this day. Reminding you of all the wonderful details you planned and how they came together to make this day even more memorable. The laughs you shared with your sisters as you were getting ready in the morning. The look on your Dad’s face as he holds back tears of joy when he looks you up and down in your wedding duds and is filled
with love for you. He knows this is the day you will commit forever to the one you love and how that makes you both so very happy.
And of course you won’t forget all of the hugs following the ceremony. Oh, the hugs. They’re never ending.
So much joy and happiness and love will be shared on your wedding day. And it will be captured in photographs, that you can hold onto. With your most favorite images printed on fine archival paper in a gorgeous wedding album. An album to proudly display in your living room, show off to your friends, and to open any time you want to be taken right back to that moment you squeezed
hand after putting a ring on her finger.
