Kimber + Devlin – MARRIED! {Happy Gnome, St. Paul MN Wedding Reception}

I drove ahead of Devlin + Kimber and had time to set up lights in the Firehouse Room of the Happy Gnome before going back outside to meet them when they walked up. This gnome sits outside of this fine establishment, waiting to greet every guest.

We made a few portraits outside of the Happy Gnome.

Then we went inside for their first dance.

Which turned out to be the only dance of the evening. It was to Ingrid Michaelson’s “The Way I Am.”

Devlin’s brother Ryan and Kimber’s best friend and maid of honor each gave wonderful toasts to the newlyweds.

Devlin took a moment to thank everyone for coming and to share how much he loves Kimber. Such a touching moment.

They had a cake from Buttercream that was delicious. It was decorated to look like a tree.

They had a humongous game of Jenga made out of 2x4s. And a photobooth with lots of props from Ritz Photo Booth Co.

Kimber + Devlin asked guests to take their photobooth filmstrips and paste them into the guest book when signing their names and leaving words of wisdom. The mutual weirdness flags were hung neatly at the start of the evening, but had fallen a bit on the right by the end of the evening. It seemed fitting.

They had these flags with their names hung at the entrance for guests to see when first reaching the top of the stairs inside the Happy Gnome.

If you missed seeing Kimber + Devlin’s engagement session in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, you should click over.

Or to go back to their wedding ceremony at the Como conservatory.

Kimber + Devlin? It was such a pleasure documenting your wedding day and giving it back to you. I’m wishing you the best. In mutual weirdness and marriage.
